Race to the Finishing Line

The BIG Day

This was painted for a good friends of our's as a keep sake of their wedding day.

They had a very individual wedding which included many of their favourite things. Perhaps the most interesting to me was they both wore cowboy boots along side very traditional wedding attire, which became the foundation of the painting.

I tried to capture the individuality of their BIG day by using their colors, sence of fun, their wedding cake... I even introduced Cami their cat.

If you are looking for a very unique and personal wedding gift this may be your answer!

Race to the Finishing Line

This painting was a commision by a cyclist. His wishes were that the painting would convey speed, the rush of air, competition and the places they cycle in the city and countryside.

It is mixed media on watercolor paper.
